KMT SELECTS ELECTRONIC FLUOROCARBONS AS EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR IN NORTH AMERICA
Chengdu Kemeite Special Gas, LTD (KMT) has authorized Electronic Fluorocarbons as its sole distributor in North America for sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and tetrafluoromethane (CF4), gases used in the semiconductor and utility industry. This five-year long agreement went into effect on January 1, 2019.
KMT specializes in the production of SF6 and CF4 and is one of the largest manufacturers worldwide. Founded in 2005, KMT employs over 200 people at its 80,000 square meter plant near the capital of Sichuan province in China. The company manufactures both SF6 and CF4 to a purity of up to 99.999% for etching application used in the semiconductor industry, using advanced analytical equipment under ISO 9001/14001/EU REACH certification.
Electronic Fluorocarbons serves a wide variety of North American industries, including major and independent gas distributors as well as the semiconductor and solar industries, with high-quality rare and specialty gases and fluorocarbons.
