We want to assure you that at Electronic Fluorocarbons, LLC (“EFC”) there is nothing more important to us than the health, safety and emotional well-being of our customers, sellers, partners and staff during this time of uncertainty due to COVID-19. With that in mind, we are following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as from local and federal authorities to diminish the risks of transmission at our offices and plant operations. We’ve addressed schedule changes to limit personal proximity, ceased travel, cancelled meetings and moved meetings from in-person to virtual. These changes will remain in effect until further notice.
The well-being and safety of our staff is at the forefront of our business and we are doing everything possible to do our part and to keep our communities safe. Gov. Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania declared that businesses such as ours, chemical manufacturers specifically, are deemed essential and shall remain open. While
many other business closures are non-life-sustaining, Electronic Fluorocarbons, LLC is an essential part of the supply chain. As a manufacturer and distributor of cryogenic and compressed gases that are widely used to support laboratory, medical, semiconductor, and electrical grid infrastructure, we are here and are united in our efforts to combat Covid-19. While need continues across the country and world at large, we want to keep you apprised that we are meeting the demands of production and delivery without interruption or delay. The orders you have placed and plan to place in the future will be supported and processed as they would in the normal course of operations, with a focus on safety and quality, as is the EFC way. We want to support our industry leaders by limiting
the interruption in supply chain demands so we can all benefit from their efforts to work through this crisis. We are, however, reliant on the transportation industry for the distribution to our customer for their shipments and have aligned with our logistics partners to ensure and meet the shipment dates requested.
We will continue to work diligently to keep you informed of any changes. Amid the on-going health concerns, we appreciate that your business must go on. We expect our back office and plant to continue on with no interruption, thanks in part to our telecommuting efforts and scheduling changes. We are committed to supporting your business needs. We will continue to monitor the state of COVID-19 and will provide the support needed to our customers, our partners and our community. We are here for you, and together, we will pull through this crisis.
